Cowinkidink or Divine Sign???

I'm not sure...but I tend to look at everything "coincidental" as part of Allah's divine plan to strengthen my faith.

Yesterday we did the set-up for the estate sale. Or I should say the company did it. We did all the prep of getting the "keep crap" out of the way during the 5 previous days. So the "sell crap" is already out, priced and ready to sell. Alhamdulilah for professionals! What took them one day to do would have taken me months! Now everything is ready to go. And so am I. Insha Allah.

Yesterday, I had another near-meltdown and spent all day on the computer after some nutcase at Northwest/KLM told me I could NOT take my dog with me. This imbecile told me NW could ship her as far as Amsterdam--on a cargo plane mind you--not even on the same plane with me!!!--and from there I would have to contact a "private broker" to fly her into Cairo!!!! Ya Allah--what a shock. Can we say major bucks and major stress here? Because the one thing I was sure of was there would be no problem with the dog. So I was in a huge tizzy yesterday, yes I was.

So I searched every airline in the world that could somehow get me from my hometown to Cairo. They were either cost prohibitive or inept at pet transport. Like EgyptAir who said I would have to remind the Captain to turn the heat on in the cargo hold. Oh yeah! And what if he didn't??? Popsicle/dog lands in Cairo frozen to death. I don't think so. So in one last desperate attempt, I called NW/KLM again. And got the same woman I had talked to months ago who made it so easy for me in the first place.

In short, she told me they had hired a lot of new reps and most didn't bother to look up info--they just quoted off the tops of their heads. But this woman told me she had been at this for 30 years and she never quoted anything without having it right in front of her on the computer screen. Smart woman! So not only did she assure me that the dog will fly with me the whole way, but she will be placed in a pet hotel in Amsterdam and fed, walked and have her cage cleaned as well. And we will arrive in Cairo happy to see each other! Further, she told me that when I am ready to book my flight, she will handle tickets, the dog and the cat, and any and all arrangements I need for my Mom who uses a wheelchair. Amazing! Huge alhamdulilah here!

Now the interesting thing in all this is...both the estate seller and the rep at NW/KLM have the same last name. And it's not a common name either. Two women who truly are making this move easy--even possible for me--have the same unique last name! Yes, I think it's more than a coincidence. It's a sign from Allah! He's telling me to trust Him only and everything will be OK. Alhamdulilah! I grow to love Him more and more each day!
